The overall objective of this Project was to raise the competitiveness of SMEs in Croatia and to prepare them for successful performance on the EU market by strengthening the capacity of HAMAG and other relevant institutions on a regional level, as well as by developing and implementing B2B and benchmarking system and in this way providing additional services and better support for SMEs in Croatia.

Benchmarking
Benchmarking implies comparison of enterprises from the same branch, with the aim of identifying their advantages and flaws in relation to competition and improvement of the weak points in business.

B2B
B2B (Business to Business) is an electronic business model that is used for connecting entrepreneurs and finding partners with the purpose of increasing competitiveness on the EU market.
Several new project ideas for the further improvement of HAMAG’s services for small and medium enterprises have emerged pursuant to this Project.

Project implementation lasted from April 2008 until January 2009. Total budget of the Project was EUR 144,400 and it was financed via bilateral cooperation of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Croatia, by the Swedish Institutional Support Fund (SISF).
