HAMAG implements the Consultant Network Project, whereby the small business consultants are certified and furthermore their services for entrepreneurs, provided through HAMAG's partner institutions, are co-financed. Partner institutions involved in the project are development agencies, entrepreneurial centres, incubators and technological parks. The project's beneficiaries are all small business entities according to the SME Development Promotion Act.

The purpose of consultant services co-financing is to facilitate and encourage the establishment and development of SMEs, furthermore to enhance their business by ensuring their accessibility to expert knowledge and advice, as well as by promoting the regional development.

Main objectives of the project are:

• Raising entrepreneurial awareness on necessity to use and accessibility of consultants services
• Encouragement and improvement of start-ups
• Raising competitiveness of existing small business entities
• Standardisation of consultant services
